Our story begins with Etta Candy coming home to her small apartment in Arlington after a long day of work at the War Department. Etta is accosted by the evil Dr. Remorae who takes her hostage and uses her as bait to capture Wondrous Woman. Not long thereafter a ransom note is sent to General Blankenship’s office demanding that Wondrous Woman come to a remote cabin in the woods to free Etta or the clueless young lieutenant will be put to an early doom. Wanting to go alone but with her young step-sister Drusilla with her, Wondrous Girl insists on accompanying Wondrous Woman to free Etta but Drusilla is having a hard time overcoming the various perils and traps that WW has set up for training. WG (who has to balance a fragmentation grenade on top of her bound legs and not let it fall to the ground and explode) feels that all of these tests and traps are a waste of time and the impatient young superhero wants to crack skulls instead of learning discipline and control. Wondrous Woman (who is organizing these tests for her tep-step-sister) knows that without intensive training *without* her amazonian powers and weapons Drusilla will soon be finished in the superhero business, but the arrogant young Drusilla insists that training is a waste of time when you already have superhuman strength and might…
