Two months later, Dexter wins the election, and he and Supergirl are together, with him still in control. Supergirl feels trapped and dishonored, but her only real course of action is to continue being Dexter’s “supportive slut.” The power dynamic between them is unbalanced, with Dexter using his knowledge of Supergirl’s secret identity to manipulate and control her.
